Kevin Bridges is one of the most popular and talented young comics in the UK today and has enjoyed a meteoric rise to success. His career in stand up began in 2004 with his first open mic spot and a mere 6 years, later Bridges would release his first stand up DVD entitled The Story So Far...
After his debut in 2004 Bridges quickly began his path on the road to both critical and commercial success. 2005 saw him reach the finals of every new act competition including the prestigious So You Think Your Funny? competition hosted by Channel 4.
In 2006 Bridges sold out his first solo performance at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival and continued to sell out his performances for the next three years at the festival.
Even though Bridges had multiple television appearances his big break on TV came in 2009 when he was a guest on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow which aired on BBC One to over 5 million viewers. As a result of his hilarious set, his run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival sold out in hours meaning that an extra 15 shows had to be added to meet demand!
Subsequently Bridges is now a familiar face on programs like Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Stand Up For The Week.
Kevin Bridges has a strong home following in Scotland and has sold out venues across the country and indeed the world. His experience and intrinsic comedic talents make him ideal for hosting corporate events and his presence can liven up even the most boring topics!
