Chris Evans has announced he will continue his hugely popular Car Fest show into 2013, revealing the North venue as Oulton park circuit. Taking place in August, Evans revealed that the top motoring event is set to wow car enthusiasts between the 2nd and 4th of August to raise money for Children In Need. Car Fest North joined the original Car Fest just last year, but quickly rose to equal popularity as demand for the event grew, and both events together went on to raise a staggering £968,735 for the charity. The original event Car Fest South will take place later in the month between the 23rd and 25th of August at Laverstoke Park Farm, owned by former F1 world champion, Jody Scheckter. Both events will feature some of the most prestigious, mouth-watering cars in the world on a demanding hill-climbing course. Talking to the Telegraph, Evans spoke of his excitement and enthusiasm for the events saying: "I can't wait to spend the three days of CarFest North in the surroundings of the most respected race circuit in Europe, with such a depth of historical magic. Then two weeks later at Laverstoke Park Farm – what a summer." 2013 is the first year that CarFest North will be hosted at Oulton Park, and it will provide car and motorsport enthusiasts with stunning surroundings, excellent family entertainment and of course, most importantly, a great track displaying superb cars. Book your tickets online today, either via the Children In Need website, or from the CarFest itself.
