Andi Oliver is a leading voice in food, arts, culture, and music, known for her vibrant personality and award-winning career as a chef, broadcaster, and storyteller.
Best known as the host of the Great British Menu since 2020, Andi previously spent four seasons as a judge on the show, cementing her authority in the UK culinary scene. She is also a familiar face on Food Unwrapped and a regular guest chef and presenter on Saturday Kitchen.
In 2024, Andi launched her BBC Two series Andi Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts, where she travels across the UK celebrating diverse communities through food, culture, and shared experiences. Her previous presenting credits include Sky Arts Live Book Club and Beat the Chef.
Expanding her reach into podcasting, Andi co-hosts Stirring It Up alongside her daughter, Miquita Oliver. The podcast blends food, conversation, and culture, welcoming notable guests for intimate discussions around the kitchen table. Its fourth series launched in summer 2024, continuing to grow its loyal audience.
In publishing, Andi released her acclaimed cookbook, The Pepperpot Diaries: Stories From My Caribbean Table, in 2023. The book celebrates Caribbean cuisine with a mix of traditional recipes, modern interpretations, and personal storytelling rooted in heritage and flavour.
On radio, Andi is a regular panelist on The Kitchen Cabinet alongside Jay Rayner, and contributes to the award-winning The Food Programme. In 2018, she was appointed Head Judge of the prestigious BBC Food & Farming Awards, following in the footsteps of renowned chefs Yotam Ottolenghi and Giorgio Locatelli.
Beyond food, Andi has showcased her passion for music and culture through projects like Jazz 365, and co-presented travel and cultural documentaries with Miquita Oliver, including The Road to Saigon and a 2022 BBC Two Caribbean series exploring their family heritage.
