Ann Daniels is a renowned polar explorer and world record holder, recognized as one of Britain's leading female adventurers. Her remarkable journey began as a mother of young triplets with no prior outdoor experience. Through sheer determination and belief in herself, Ann was chosen from over 200 more experienced candidates for her first North Pole expedition.

In 2000, Ann sledge-hauled her way across Antarctica to the South Pole. Just two years later, she embarked on a full North Pole expedition, becoming the first woman in history to ski to both the North and South Poles as part of all-women teams—a feat that remains unmatched. Facing temperatures as low as -50°C and encounters with polar bears, Ann has sledge-hauled over 2000 miles in some of the world's most hostile environments, completing more than ten polar expeditions and surviving over 400 days on the ice.

Ann's experiences have taught her the critical importance of meticulous planning, hard work, and a positive attitude in the face of adversity. As a polar guide and the sole leader of all three long-range scientific Catlin Arctic Surveys, she exemplifies the power of strong leadership, teamwork, and self-belief.

In 2017 and 2018, Ann collaborated with NASA and the European Space Agency to help scientists gain a deeper understanding of the fragile polar regions. She is set to return to the Arctic in 2023 as the navigator for Martin Hartley's Ice Sentinels expedition, aimed at examining and documenting the last of the multi-year ice on the Arctic Ocean before it vanishes.
