Anton Du Beke has become a household name and a familiar face on our TV screens thanks to his appearances on BBC1's long-running hit show Strictly Come Dancing. Believing the world would be a better place if everyone learned to dance, Anton delights in sharing his passion and enthusiasm for ballroom dancing with others.

But Anton’s skills as an entertainer extend far beyond his formidable dancing capabilities, for he can keep an audience totally enthralled with his quick wit, charismatic charm, humorous repartee and inimitable displays of sartorial style. Coined 'the ultimate gentleman', Anton defines modern-day dapper: classically stylish and always impeccably turned-out - much like his hero Fred Astaire, whom Anton upholds as his style icon.

Such is Anton’s versatility that he has also presented non-dance programmes on prime-time television, including the BBC’s Step up to the Plate with Loyd Grossman OBE, and the cult Saturday night hit show Hole in the Wall, in which he appeared in over twenty-one episodes, firstly as a team captain (series one) and then as the host of the show (series two).

Anton's expertise and enthusiasm concerning all things terpsichorean has resulted in a number of books on the subject. In 2007, Anton's Dance Class was published and also serialised in the Mail On Sunday. This was followed in 2012 with his A-Z on ballroom dancing, entitled B is for Ballroom.

A born showman, Anton excels at entertainment and appeals to generations young and old.
