From the USA Masters to Wimbledon, Chris Hollins has presented many of the world's top sporting events and in the process has become one of the UK's most popular TV presenters.
Chris was the main sports reporter on BBC Breakfast from 2005 to 2012, as well as a regular co-host of the show. He then co-hosted Olympic Breakfast for BBC1 during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Chris began his media career at the London TV station Channel One TV, moving to Sky Sports in 1994, followed by spells at GMTV, Meridian and Five TV. He joined BBC News in 1999, also reporting for Grandstand and Football Focus. He joined BBC Breakfast in October 2005.
Other TV presenting work includes Real Rescues, The Food Inspectors, Dirty Tricks of the Tradesmen, Show Me The Monet, Cash in the Attic, and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip (for BBC Children In Need). Since 2010, Chris has co-hosted BBC1's ever-popular consumer programme Watchdog.
A talented sportsman in his own right, and always up for a challenge, his nifty footwork helped him to win the 2009 series of Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1); Chris also took part in the Strictly Come Dancing tour at various venues around the UK in early 2010.
Chris was also part of the BBC's presentation team covering the Royal Wedding in 2011 and several of The Diamond Jubilee events the following year.
A patron of the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent, Chris is also an ambassador for Gold Challenge, a fund-raising challenge where participants take on five or more Olympic and Paralympic sports to raise money for a charity of their choice.
