"Just a note to say thank you so much for your help with getting Dom sorted for us. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he went down very well with our clients and was a good sport sticking around for photos and chat afterwards. It was lovely to meet him"
Multi-award-winning comedian Dominic Holland has been described as "The UK's master of observational comedy" (Sunday Times) and "a top notch stand up who everyone should see" (Daily Telegraph). His witty asides have graced many BBC Radio 4 shows, including Loose Ends and The News Quiz, while his own Radio 4 series, The Small World of Dominic Holland, won a Comic Heritage Award. He has also been a guest on numerous TV shows, including Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over and The Wright Stuff.
Dominic started performing stand-up comedy in 1991, making his debut at The Comedy Cafe in London. He has appeared at the Festival several times since then (with his 1996 show being nominated for another Perrier Award). In 2012, Dominic recorded his first stand up DVD at the Court Theatre in Tring.
Dominic has also written material for Lenny Henry, Harry Enfield, Des O'Connor, Clive Anderson and many others, as well as writing for the first animated British TV sitcom, The Wild World of Warren (produced for ITV by Baby Cow Productions). In addition, he has written three comic novels, Only in America, The Ripple Effect and A Man’s Life.
Dominic has also established himself as a firm fixture on the business entertainment circuit, entertaining at a wide variety of functions - from addressing 3000 people at the Cowes Regatta on the Isle of White to enthralling a dinner party for 60 at a medieval Chateau on Lake Geneva.
