Ellie Simmonds OBE is a Paralympic swimming champion, broadcaster, and disability rights advocate who has inspired millions around the world. Born with achondroplasia, Ellie made history at just 13 years old when she competed in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, winning two gold medals. Over her illustrious career, she went on to earn five Paralympic golds, numerous world titles, and became one of Britain’s most recognisable and respected athletes.

Since retiring from competitive swimming, Ellie has built a successful career as a motivational speaker, TV presenter, and campaigner for inclusivity and representation. She has appeared on major programmes such as BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and fronted documentaries exploring disability awareness, adoption, and equality.
