Gavin Hastings

Gavin Hastings dedicated training, tenacity and shear skill on the pitch are just some of the reasons why he became an outstanding Scottish and International Rugby Union player. During a glittering career, he scored over 700 points in official Test Matches, placing him second behind Australia's Michael Lynagh in the list of all-time record point scorers. He retired after the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa, having played 61 times for Scotland, 20 of them as Captain.
