Glenn Hoddle is one of England’s most gifted footballers and a respected manager, known for his exceptional vision, technical ability, and leadership. Starting his career at Tottenham Hotspur, he played 377 league matches, scoring 88 goals and winning multiple trophies, including two FA Cups (1981, 1982) and the UEFA Cup (1984). His move to AS Monaco in 1987 saw him claim the French league title in 1988, playing under Arsène Wenger.
Glenn transitioned into management, leading Swindon Town to the Premier League before taking charge of Chelsea, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. As England manager (1996–1999), he guided the team to the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where they reached the second round. His tactical intelligence and commitment to possession-based football made him a standout figure in English football.
