Gorka Marquez

Most famously known for his appearance on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka has continuously displayed outstanding talent and charisma in both the 2016 and 2017 series. His debut saw him paired with Eastenders’ star Tameka Empson’s, a brilliant platform which lead him to assisting Alexandra Burke in the following year where they successfully reached the final.

Gorka’s flare for dancing started from a very young age. Originally from Bilboa, Spain, at the age of 11 he attended Ballroom and Latin dance classes where he quickly excelled and became one of the top dancers within his country, representing Spain all over the world. From competing globally, he decided to reach out to theatre, performing in the world famous production “Burn the Floor”. This was performed all over the world, from West-End to Broadway, he also toured Japan, Australia, China and South Africa.

Gorka is also a huge fan of health, fitness and fashion - he is a qualified personal trainer and fashion model. He enjoys sharing his fitness programs and training sessions on his well establish social media pages, where he has an impressively extensive following with over 179k followers on instagram and 52k+ on Twitter.
