Justin Webb is the longest-serving current presenter of BBC Radio 4’s *Today* programme and one of the UK’s most experienced international correspondents. Known for his authoritative interviewing style and deep geopolitical insight, Justin specialises in US politics, transatlantic relations, leadership and global affairs.

Before joining *Today*, Justin spent nearly a decade in the United States as the BBC’s Chief Washington Correspondent, where he covered two Presidential elections and major political and economic shifts across Washington, Wall Street and beyond. During this time, he became the first British journalist granted a full television interview with President Obama, cementing his reputation as one of the BBC’s leading US voices.

Justin continues to play a central role in covering America’s political and cultural landscape. He is co-host of the BBC podcast Americast alongside Sarah Smith and Marianna Spring, offering sharp, accessible analysis of US elections, political polarisation, social media influence and the evolving relationship between the United States and Europe. He also writes on US affairs for The Times.

Earlier in his career, Justin served as the BBC’s Europe Correspondent in Brussels and reported from across the world on major international events, including the first Gulf War, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the first all-race South African election, political upheaval in the Maldives and major mafia trials in Italy. He has also presented major BBC programmes including 'Breakfast News' and 'The World Tonight'.
