Kevin Clifton

Kevin Clifton is a professional dancer and actor, best known for his time on the BBC TV series Strictly Come Dancing. Born Lincolnshire, Kevin started dancing ballroom and Latin as a child, taught by his parents, who were former World Champions.

Kevin joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and quickly became a fan favourite. He won the sixteenth series in 2018 with his celebrity partner Stacey Dooley, who is now his partner in real life.

Kevin has appeared in various musical theatre productions including Dirty Dancing: The Musical, Rock of Ages, The Wedding Singer and The War of the Worlds.

In the world of television, Kevin has also performed in the dance show, Burn the Floor and investigated a long-standing family rumour on BBC hit show  Who Do You Think Your Are. Further credits include; ITV’s The Games, Strictly Come Dancing’s iconic Chorography Corner on It Takes Two and Kevin also starred in the cast of BBC’s warm-hearted mystery drama Father Brown.
