Micky Flanagan is now firmly established as one of the UK's top comedians, with a witty observational humour that homes in on the common threads we all share, from everyday hopes and dreams to the creeping acceptance of middle age!

Claiming that his East End of London upbringing was so impoverished that Alphabetti Spaghetti was a luxury, Micky rose through the comedy ranks via numerous stand-up performances at comedy clubs across the country. His perseverance paid off when he turned professional in the late 1990s, becoming a headline act at the Edinburgh Fringe and winning Best Newcomer Award in the process. TV appearances soon followed, including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, the Royal Variety Show and even Celebrity Mastermind. In addition, Micky has become something of a regular on BBC Radio 4, with many guest appearances and his own show charting his rise through the social strata!
