Nick Jenkins

Nick Jenkins is a British entrepreneur, investor, and speaker renowned for founding Moonpig, the pioneering online greeting-card business, and for his role as a “Dragon” on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den. He studied Russian Language and Literature at the University of Birmingham, followed by eight years working as a commodity trader in Moscow, before completing an MBA at Cranfield University.

In 2000, he launched Moonpig, growing it from a start-up into a profitable enterprise by 2005 and ultimately selling it in 2011. Since then, Nick Jenkins has focused on investing in early-stage technology and e-commerce ventures, serving on investment committees such as Impact Ventures UK, and supporting educational charities, bringing a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship, scaling businesses, and fostering innovation.
