Pete Firman

Pete Firman is the UK’s top comedian and magician, known for his regular TV appearances. His recent TV credits include The Generation Game, The Next Great Magician, Tonight at the London Palladium, Let’s Sing & Dance for Comic Relief and Tommy Cooper Forever. Pete also hosts the CITV game show Don’t Unleash The Beast.

Pete first appeared on Channel 5’s groundbreaking series, Monkey Magic, and later starred in BBC1’s prime-time Saturday night series The Magicians. His unique blend of comedy and magic has led to numerous prime-time TV appearances, including The John Bishop Show, The Sarah Millican Television Programme, The One Show, This Morning, Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live and The Magic Show Story.

Pete’s BBC Radio 4 documentary, Pete Firman’s World of Magic, received critical acclaim. He has also been featured in TV retrospectives such as How Magic Changed TV, 50 Greatest Magic Tricks and When Magic Tricks Go Horribly Wrong. As a magic consultant, Pete has worked on productions like the Edinburgh show Five Guys Named Moe.

Pete authored Tricks To Freak Out Your Friends, a beginner’s magic book that was a hit in the UK and the USA, now entering its second print run. He has written articles on magic for The Guardian, The Scotsman, and Time Out London.

Pete’s live performances have taken him worldwide. His one-man shows have entertained sell-out audiences for 10 consecutive years at the Edinburgh Fringe and on multiple UK tours. He has performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival, Hollywood’s Magic Castle, and London’s The Magic Circle. Other UK theatre credits include Champions of Magic, The All-Star Stand Up Tour, and Sandi Toksvig’s Christmas Cracker.
