Pippa Crerar is one of the UK’s leading political journalists, renowned for her agenda-setting reporting, insider access and expert analysis of Westminster and national affairs. With more than 20 years covering British and international politics, Pippa has reported on seven general elections, eight prime ministers and some of the most defining political events of recent decades from the Iraq War and the financial crisis to Brexit, Partygate and the changing face of British democracy.

Before joining The Guardian, Pippa served as Political Editor of the Daily Mirror, where she broke the Partygate and Barnard Castle stories that dominated national headlines during Boris Johnson’s premiership. Earlier in her career, she covered Westminster politics for the Evening Standard.
