Rav Wilding

Rav Wilding, a former soldier and Metropolitan Police officer, has built a distinguished career as a television presenter and voiceover artist, renowned for his expertise in factual programming. His work spans major networks, with a strong presence in crime, public safety, and investigative journalism.

He is a familiar face on BBC One’s Morning Live, where he presents features on crime, scams, fraud, and digital security. His tenure on Crimewatch spanned eight years, followed by hosting the long-running Crimewatch Roadshow since 2009. He also fronted Scam Interceptors, a BBC One Daytime series where he collaborates with ethical hackers to track down cybercriminals—an effort that earned the show a BAFTA in 2024.

Beyond crime-related programming, Rav has led numerous factual series including Neighbourhood Blues, Frontline Fightback, Ill Gotten Gains, Crime Scene Rescue, Christmas City, Britain’s Bravest Cops, and Helicopter Heroes, appearing across both daytime and prime-time slots. He extended his reach to Channel 5, fronting Frontline Police and Law & Disorder: Catching Criminals Live.

His versatility also shines in children’s television, having hosted Cop School and Hero Squad for CBBC, even narrating an online game tied to the series. He was also at the forefront of Remembrance Week, broadcasting from Afghanistan, and co-hosted Missing Live on BBC One. Before his media career, Rav served as a Detective Constable for the Metropolitan Police for eight years. Prior to that, he was part of the Army Parachute Air Defence Troop, where he honed his skills in adventure training. His passion for fitness remains unwavering—he is a qualified lifeguard, Level 3 personal trainer, and an Army adventure training instructor. When he’s not on-screen, you might find him at the gym or on a motorcycle track, indulging in his love for racing.
