The face and voice of BBC London since 2006, Riz Lateef presents the 6:30 pm news bulletin from Monday to Thursday (as well as some editions of the 10:30 pm programme). She also presents the Friday edition of the National 8 pm News Summary on BBC1.
Riz has a number of prodigious awards to her name, such as Asian Women Achievement Awards: Media Professional (2009) and The Evening Standard’s London’s 1000 Most Influential People.
Riz's broadcasting career took off in 2004, when she began working for the BBC, and since then it has gone from strength to strength. She has been featured not only on BBC London, but also on the BBC News Channel, BBC North East and Cumbria, and the Andrew Marr Show.
