Award-winning comedian and writer Scott Bennett will be taking his brand-new stand-up shows, Stuff and Blood Sugar Baby, on tour across the UK in Spring 2025. Known for his razor-sharp wit and relatable humour, Scott has earned a reputation as one of the brightest talents in British comedy.
Scott began his career in stand-up comedy in late 2009 and quickly became a rising star on the circuit. His critically praised shows Leap Year and Relax both received nominations for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and he was named ‘One to Watch’ by Chortle in 2018 and 2019.
His debut hour-long show, About a Roy, was shortlisted for the Amused Moose Comedy Award and recognised as one of the Top Ten Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015—a major milestone in his career.
In 2021, Scott made his debut appearance on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, followed by a live performance at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance in 2024. In 2025, he joins the celebrated line-up for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity gala at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Scott is a familiar voice on BBC Radio 4, where he’s been a regular guest on programmes such as The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican. His broadcast credits also include The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. In 2018, he featured on BBC One’s Live from the Edinburgh Fringe.
His popularity has extended into commercial work, with Scott starring in Nationwide’s national ad campaigns aired in 2020 and 2021.
In addition to performing, Scott is an accomplished writer for television and radio. His credits include First and Last with Jason Manford (BBC One), The Chris Ramsey Show (Comedy Central), and BBC One’s prime-time show Little Mix – The Search. He’s written material for high-profile comedians, including Rob Brydon and Jason Manford, and contributed to several BBC Radio 4 programmes including The News Quiz and Citizen of Nowhere.
As a filmmaker, Scott has also received international recognition, with his comedy shorts selected for screening at the Beeston Film Festival (2019) and the New York City Comedy Shorts Festival (2020).
