Suzi Perry was the first permanent female anchor of BBC One's Formula 1 coverage, then in 2016 she returned to the world of motorcycle racing when she joined the BT Sport team as channel ambassador and host of their Moto GP and Speedway GP series. Travelling the World to report from trackside and speaking to the biggest names in motorsport for more than two decades, truly makes her the Queen of the Pit Lane.
It’s not all about wheels and petrol though, Suzi’s other sport hosting credits include the BBC's live coverage of Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, the London Marathon, the Trooping of the Colour, the London Olympics, the Great North Run and the legendary Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race.
Growing up surrounded by music (her dad was a leading band manager, booking agent and venue promoter and her god-father was a founding member of White Snake), Suzi has a deep love for radio and live performances. She is regularly called upon to cover the early breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 and following a hugely positive response from the audience, she has also covered the drive time show and fronted a documentary looking at the music playlist choices of the Worlds leading F1 drivers, both of which she loved.
Also known for her love of technology, Suzi hosted Channel 5's hugely popular Gadget Show for 8 years, covering an astonishing 17 series. During this time she also presented Gadget Show Live at the NEC. The event is held over 5 days for more than 75,000 guests. She has also held the role of technology ambassador for the Ideal Home Show.
Suzi's numerous TV credits include, How to Take Stunning Pictures and Operation Homefront for Channel 5; House Call, City Hospital, Superstars, Watchdog and the National Lottery for BBC One and Treasure Hunt and F1 Rewind on BBC Two.
Suzi appeared in the 2016 celebrity Christmas specials of Question Of Sport and Robot Wars. She’s also appeared as a guest on shows including; Saturday Kitchen, The One Show, They Think it's all Over, Sarah Millican, Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Eggheads and Pointless to name a few as well hosting features on This Morning, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and Daybreak.
Over the years she has also enjoyed her role as a contributing journalist, working with titles such as; The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Motorcycle News, T3, Stuff Magazine and MSN.
As an accomplished corporate host she has worked with many brands and companies, including; Karcher, IMI, Global Mobile Awards, The Boat Show, HSBC, BT, DELL, Suzuki, Fiat, Yamaha, Zoom Auction for F1, Phillips, EE, 02, Nikon, Honda, Mercedes and Royal Mail.
As well as sport, music and technology, Suzi loves travel, cooking and natural history. She has an honorary degree with Wolverhampton University and supports many charities including Sport Relief, Great Ormond Street, Promise Dreams, Marie Curie, UK Youth and Burn Aid.
