Tim started performing stand-up in the early 1990s, quickly gaining recognition for his unique style. His comedy is built on quick-fire jokes, wordplay, and absurd humour, often accompanied by silly props and songs.
Tim Vine has won multiple awards, including Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010 and 2014, making him the only comedian to win it twice. He also held the Guinness World Record for the most jokes told in an hour—499, each earning a laugh from the audience. His ability to deliver relentless punchlines has made him a standout in British comedy.
Beyond stand-up, Tim starred in the BBC sitcom Not Going Out alongside Lee Mack, playing the lovable and goofy Tim from 2006 to 2012. He has also appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Show, and The Sketch Show, showcasing his signature humour to wider audiences.
