Zoe Lyons

Zoe Lyons is an award-winning comedian, television host and and one of the UK’s most recognisable live performers. She has completed a nationwide tour of her critically acclaimed stand-up show, Werewolf, further cementing her reputation as a dynamic and intelligent comic voice. With her sharp wit, natural warmth and commanding stage presence, Zoe is a popular choice for corporate events, awards ceremonies and conferences across the UK and internationally.

Zoe is best known for hosting BBC Two’s Lightning and Live at the Apollo, and for her regular appearances on some of Britain’s most-loved panel shows including Have I Got News For You, QI and Mock the Week. She has guest co-hosted Sunday Morning Live (BBC One) and The Frank Skinner Show (Absolute Radio), demonstrating her versatility across both television and radio. Her extensive TV credits also include Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins (Channel 4), House of Games, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Hypothetical, Between the Covers, Pointless Celebrities, Room 101, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, and Celebrity Mastermind, which she won.

A familiar voice on BBC Radio 4, Zoe regularly appears on The News Quiz, Just a Minute, The Unbelievable Truth and The Now Show, and hosted her own four-part series, Passport Paddy. She has also featured on numerous other radio programmes and leading comedy podcasts, underlining her reputation as a polished broadcaster and engaging communicator.

A long-standing favourite at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Zoe’s shows, including Entry Level Human, Mustard Cutter, Little Miss Misfit and Werewolf, have toured the UK to widespread critical and audience acclaim. She has performed internationally at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and at major events including Latitude, Kilkenny and Pride festivals. Zoe also hosts her own award-winning monthly comedy night, Bent Double, in Brighton.

Zoe is the winner of Dave’s Joke of the Fringe, Comedian’s Comedian of the Year and The Funny Women Award, and was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Her industry recognition reflects both her originality and the high regard in which she is held by peers and critics alike.

A trained actor, Zoe performed the lead role in An Act of God at The Vaults in London and has additional theatre credits including Outings, Hedda Gabler and Shut Up I’m Your Mother. Her acting background enhances her strong stagecraft and ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Outside of comedy, Zoe is passionate about diving, ultra-marathons, paddle-boarding and wild swimming. She speaks openly about living with alopecia and brings insight, resilience and humour to conversations around wellbeing, identity and modern life. Her specialist subjects on Celebrity Mastermind were Quentin Crisp and Jacques Cousteau, reflecting the curiosity and intelligence that underpin her work both on and off stage.
